Code I: One Day Kbal Spean Waterfall ( River of 1000 Lingas) & Banteay Srey Temple:

Morning leave the hotel around 8:00 AM start to visit Kbal Spean Waterfall("Bridge Head")& River of 1000 Lingas is an Angkorian era site on the southwest slopes of the Kulen Hills in Cambodia, 40 km from the main Angkor group. It is commonly known as the valley of a 1000 Lingas.

Lunch at the local restaurant.

Atfer Lunch continue to visit  the pink sandstone temple, Banteay Srey which is known as Lady temple or Citadel of women temple .The Temple was consecrated in 967 A.D. Banteay Srei was the only major temple at Angkor not built by a monarch. Because its beautiful carvings Banteay Srey temple is regarded as gem of Khmer arts.

Then continue to visit the sun set at Pre Rup Temple.

Code II:  One Day  Kulen Mountain Waterfall National & Banteay Srey Temple:

Morning leave the hotel around 8: 00 AM start the tour to  Phnom Kulen National Park is a National park in Cambodia.

It is located in the Phnom Kulen mountain massif in Siem Reap Province. During Angkorian era the relief was known as Mahendraparvata (the mountain of Great Indra) and was the place where Jayavarman II had himself declared chakravartin (King of Kings), an act which is considered the foundation of Khmer Empire.

Waterfalls

There are two main waterfalls in Phnom Kulen First waterfall: 4-5 meter tall and 20-25 meter wide during the dry and rainy seasons respectfully. Second waterfall: 15-20 meter tall and 10-15 meter wide during the dry and rainy seasons respectfully. Linga 1,000  is located on the mountain, along the Siem Reap River and has a lot of figures of Yoni and Linga spreading out at the bottom of the river. Preah Ang Thom  is an 8 meter tall statue of the reclining Buddha reaching nirvana. The statue is carved into a huge sandstone boulder. Preah Ang Thom is the sacred and worshiping god for Phnom Kulen.

Morning leave the hotel around  8:30 AM start the tour to visit Beng Melea Temple ( Lotus Pond). It was built as Hinduist temple, but there are some carvings depicting Buddhist motifs. Its primary material is sandstone and it is largely unrestored, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps. For years it was difficult to reach, but a road recently built to the temple complex of Koh Ker passes Beng Mealea and more visitors are coming to the site, as it is 77 km from Siem Reap by road.

Afterwards go to visit The Great Lake Tonle Sap which is the biggest fresh water lake in South-east Asia, take a cruise to visit Kompong Pluk floating Village ( traditional Khmer floating Village) by private boat through fishing Village of Tonle Sap Lake to discover the tall stilted houses, Floating Village, the floating hospital, fisher-boat ,fishery, old lifestyle of the country and the natural landscape of the Tonle Sap Lake flooded Mangroves forest and an Iceland Buddhist temple.( Cruise takes about 2 – 2 and half hours).

Code IV: One Day Koh Ker Temples & Beng Melea Temple:

Koh Ker Temple

Morning leave the hotel around 7:30 AM start the tour to The Temple Complex of Koh Ker, north-east of Siem Reap about 130 KM, represents the remnants of the capital of Khmer Empire from 928 A.D-944 A.D – a very unique period in the Age of Angkor. From the time the Khmer Capital first moved to Angkor area in the late 9th century, it would remain there for almost 500 years with a brief interruption. Just a few decades of the establishment at Angkor, there was a disruption in the royal succession for the reasons that remain the matter of academic debate. What is known is that in 928A.D King Jayavarman IV possibly a usurper to the throne, created a new Capital 100 KM away at Koh Ker, either moving the Capital city from Angkor or creating a rival Capital.  

Obviously a king of much wealth and power, he raised an impressive royal city at Koh Ker of Brahmanic monuments temples and Prasats, surrounding a huge Baray(ancient water reservoir) Rahal. Jayavarman IV reigned at Koh Ker for 20 years efore he in 941A.D. His son Hashavarman II would remain at Koh Ker for another three years before returning the Capital to the Angkor area. The monuments of Koh Ker are now on a road loop around a Baray past the important temples. The premier ruin of the complex is Prasat Thom (grand temple) an imposing 7-tiered pyramid and temple complex. Around the loop, there are several nicely preserved ruins sit just off the road, impressive Prasats and small temples complex. There are Lingas still in place in some monuments such as Prasat Balang and Prasat Thneng.

For the enthusiast, there are also dozens of other, and more remote ruins in the area.  Lunc at the Local restaurant. Morning leave the hotel around 6:00 AM start the tour to visit Preah Vihea Temple.  Temple The temple perched mountaintop in the Dangrek mountain range near the Thai border, the magnificent temple complex of Preah Vihear sits facing a spectactular view of Cambodian countryside. The temple itself is long and comparatively narrow, displaying architectural and artistic features. Affording a view for many kilometers across a plain, Prasat Preah Vihear has the most spectacular setting of all the temples built during the six-centuries-long Khmer Empire. As a key edifice of the empire's spiritual life, it was supported and modified by successive kings and so bears elements of several architectural styles.

Preah Vihear is unusual among Khmer temples in being constructed along a long north-south axis, rather than having the conventional rectangular plan with orientation toward the east. The temple gives its name to Cambodia's Preah Vihear province, in which it is now located In 1962, following a lengthy dispute between Thailand and Cambodia over ownership, a majority of the International Court of Justice (ICJ )in The Hague awarded the temple to Cambodia. On July 7, 2008, Preah Vihear was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
